The SikaShield® W159 ED 1.5mm is a premium self-adhesive polymer modified bituminous waterproofing membrane designed for wet-applied waterproofing systems. Reinforced with a cross-laminated polyethylene (PE) film, it provides outstanding mechanical strength, excellent flexibility, and reliable long-term waterproof protection for below-ground concrete structures. It is installed together with SikaShield® W1 adhesive mortar to form a fully bonded waterproofing system.

With a thickness of 1.5mm and a standard roll size of 1m x 20m, SikaShield® W159 ED is ideal for waterproofing basements, foundations, retaining walls, lift pits, underground structures, and vertical reinforced concrete walls. Its torch-free application improves installation safety while minimizing surface preparation and ensuring protection against lateral water migration.
