PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SikaCeram®-188 MY is a high-performance C2TE cementitious tile adhesive designed for bonding ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, homogeneous tiles and mosaics on walls and floors. It is supplied as a ready-to-use powder requiring only the addition of water, providing excellent workability and reliable adhesion for professional tiling applications.

With its thixotropic consistency and slip-resistant properties, SikaCeram®-188 MY can be applied to vertical surfaces with reduced tile slipping, including applications involving heavier tiles. It provides very good adhesion to common substrates such as concrete, cementitious mortar, stone, bricks and existing tiled surfaces.

SikaCeram®-188 MY is suitable for low and high absorption tiles, including porcelain and homogeneous tiles. It can be applied in continuous layers from 3 mm to 10 mm and is suitable for internal and external walls and floors, subject to the manufacturer's application requirements.

Classified as C2TE according to EN 12004, SikaCeram®-188 MY provides improved tensile adhesion, reduced slip and extended open time, making it a suitable choice for residential, commercial and renovation tiling projects where higher bonding performance is required.
