PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SikaCeram®-288 MY is a high-performance C2TE S1 flexible cementitious tile adhesive designed for bonding ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, homogeneous tiles and mosaics on walls and floors. It is a one-component powder adhesive that requires only the addition of water, providing excellent workability and strong adhesion for professional tile installation.

With its S1 deformable formulation, SikaCeram®-288 MY is suitable for applications where improved flexibility and adhesion performance are required. It provides very good adhesion to common substrates such as concrete, cementitious mortar, stone and bricks, as well as existing tiled surfaces, making it suitable for tile-on-tile renovation applications.

SikaCeram®-288 MY is suitable for low and high absorption tiles, including ceramic, porcelain and homogeneous tiles. It can also be used for large-size tiles, underfloor heating systems, drywall and precast wall panels. The product is suitable for both interior and exterior walls and floors, subject to the manufacturer's application requirements.

Classified as C2TE S1 according to EN 12004, SikaCeram®-288 MY provides improved adhesion, reduced tile slip, extended open time and deformability. This makes it a suitable choice for demanding residential, commercial, renovation and external tiling projects.

COVERAGE GUIDE

Approximate consumption on flat surfaces:

• Normal size tiles: 5.0–5.5 kg/m²
• Large-size tiles / external floors 60 × 60 cm and above: 10.0–11.0 kg/m²
