PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SikaCeram®-855 is a premium two-component sanded epoxy tile grout formulated with advanced polymers and high-quality coloured sand particles. It provides a refined matte-textured finish with an elegant and premium appearance, making it suitable for decorative tile grouting and edge sealing applications.

Designed for indoor wet areas, SikaCeram®-855 is suitable for grouting most types of ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles and non-absorbent tiles. It is ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, wet rooms and other interior tiled areas where a durable, easy-to-clean and attractive grout finish is required.

The high-hardness epoxy formulation provides excellent abrasion resistance, low water absorption and easy cleaning, helping maintain the appearance of tile joints over time. Its low-odour formulation also makes it a practical choice for indoor renovation and finishing projects.

SikaCeram®-855 is supplied in a convenient 350 ml cartridge and uses a two-component 1:1 mixing ratio. It is designed for grout joints from approximately 1 mm to 5 mm, allowing it to be used for a wide range of tile joint applications.

CURING & APPLICATION

The recommended grout joint width is approximately 1–5 mm. The tile joints should be clean, dry and free from oil, dust and other residues before application.

After application, the approximate waiting times under laboratory conditions are:

• Surface drying: ~3 hours
• Pedestrian traffic: ~24 hours
• Full traffic: ~72 hours

Actual curing time may vary depending on temperature and humidity.

Note: SikaCeram®-855 is intended for indoor wet areas and is not suitable for external applications according to Sika Malaysia's product information.
