PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SikaWall®-192 Finish is a high-performance one-component cementitious finish skimcoat designed for creating a smooth and fine surface finish on internal walls and ceilings. It provides good adhesion, durability and flexibility while being easy to mix and apply.

SikaWall®-192 Finish is suitable for fine surface levelling and finishing, helping to patch minor surface imperfections such as pinholes and hairline cracks before painting or other decorative finishes. Its smooth finish helps create a more uniform wall and ceiling surface.

The product is supplied as a dry cementitious powder and only requires the addition of clean water before application. It can be applied manually using a steel trowel or spatula and can also be applied by spraying, making it suitable for residential construction, renovation and interior finishing projects.

SikaWall®-192 Finish can be applied at approximately 0.7–2.0 mm per layer, making it suitable as a fine finishing coat after a suitable base coat such as SikaWall®-191 Base. Sika lists the 191 Base + 192 Finish combination as part of its internal wall finishing system.

APPLICATION METHOD

1. Ensure the substrate is sound, clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and other contaminants.
2. Pre-wet dry concrete, render or SikaWall surfaces where required.
3. Mix SikaWall®-192 Finish with clean water using a suitable power drill whisk until a smooth consistency is achieved.
4. Apply using a steel trowel or spatula and level to the desired smooth finish.
5. Allow the applied coat to harden before applying subsequent coats.

IMPORTANT NOTES

SikaWall®-192 Finish is intended for internal wall and ceiling applications. Sika advises not to use it directly on painted or gypsum surfaces. Applying the product too thinly or over very porous/dry substrates can result in a chalky or dusty surface that may not be suitable for subsequent painting.
